Joseph E. Fisher School

Joseph E. Fisher School is a therapeutic program serving students from Kindergarten through Junior High whose social and emotional needs impact success within traditional educational settings. Students are supported in small group classrooms with a full-time certified special education teacher and classroom assistant, while receiving comprehensive therapeutic services that include group therapy, individual and crisis counseling, behavioral interventions, and related services outlined within their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Our program is staffed by a dedicated, multidisciplinary team including a Principal/Program Administrator, Special Education Teachers, Paraprofessionals, School Social Workers/Behavior Interventionists, a Speech Language Pathologist, Occupational and Physical Therapists, and a School Psychologist. Together, this team delivers the instructional and support services that foster students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

Vision Statement
We envision Fisher as a place where resilience is strengthened, progress is celebrated, and every learner is supported in charting their personal journey of growth. By fostering emotional regulation, embracing diverse learning needs, and guiding students with compassion and structure, we prepare our learners with the confidence and skills needed to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
